ORDERING INFORMATION

Ordering Online

Mostly all of CL pieces are handmade and are often made to order, which could take approxiamtely 1-2 weeks. All pieces are subject to availability and CL reserves the right to notify the buyer of changes at any given point in time.  

 

Payment

Payment for your purchase is processed by PayPal and all major credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express). You will be charged in Canadian currency.

 

Sales Taxes

All Canadian residents will be charged GST/HST for your province or territory of residence. Ontario 13% HST, British Columbia 12% HST, Nova Scotia 15% HST, New Brunswick 13% HST and Newfoundland 13% HST. All other provinces will be charged 5% GST. U.S. orders are tax-exempt. Taxes will be calculated on your total order.

 

Shipping and Handling Charges

Shipping for Canadian orders is $15 (flat rate) with tracking, shipping for international orders is $15 (flat rate) with tracking. Your order will be shipped within 3 business days of placing your order providing the item is in stock. For items not in stock, your order will be shipped within 1-3 weeks, as mostly all of 'Crush Lane's jewellery is hand-made. Pieces sold from the 'Alternative Bridal Collection' or as 'Custom' ships within 4-6 weeks as more time is needed for sourcing/ gem setting. You also have the option for order pick-ups in person, free of charge, at our flagship boutique at 105 Pitt Street, Cornwall, ON, Canada.

All orders are shipped via Canada Post. Please be aware that the expected delivery time within Canada is 2-14 days and in the US is 8-14 days. Expected delivery time to international destinations is 2-4 weeks. In most cases, orders arrive much sooner than predicted. If you would like to upgrade to faster shipping methods, please contact us at crushlane@gmail.com and we will look in to pricing for you. You will receive confirmation of shipment with tracking details when the order is sent.

Loss or Damage through Canada Post or your Postal Service

Unfortunately we are unable to be responsible for the handling of your purchase once it has been shipped.

Customs and Duties

Unfortunately we cannot be responsible for any duties charged to you at customs. Your purchase will be shipped from Canada.

Returns/Exchanges

RETURNS are not accepted but we do wish for you to be satisfied with your 'Crush Lane' purchase so we will gladly offer an EXCHANGE. If you would like to exchange your purchase, please contact us to make arrangements within 7 days of the arrival of your original purchase. You will be asked to send back the item, in it's original state and packaging. Shipping a return is at the buyers expense. Once it is back in our possession, we will notify you that you have a credit for the value of the original purchase. A flat rate of $15 will be charged to ship back to you.

Our Guarantee to you

Items from all of Crush Lane's Collections are mostly hand-made pieces, made with the utmost care, free from known defects. We offer a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. In order to determine a manufacturing defect, we will have to inspect your piece. If another jeweller works on your 'Crush Lane' piece your warranty is void. We do not warranty stone damage, breakage or loss. 

 

Specifically for items sold from the 'Alternative Bridal Collection' or as a 'Custom' Piece, we suggest you insure your jewellery against loss, damage and theft. We can include a written appraisal for insurance purposes upon request at time of purchase for an additional fee of $50.  

 

If jewellery items sold from any of our Collections are in need of a repair or adjustment, please contact us at crushlane@gmail.com. 'Crush Lane' offers repair work on all our products. Charges may apply, depending on the repair/adjustment.

*Proof of purchase must accompany ALL items being returned for Warranty work, Repair work and Returns to be exchanged. Shipping charges will apply.

PRIVACY POLICY

Some information is required for shipping and billing purposes but 'Crush Lane' will never sell, give away, or share customer lists or information. Upon placing an order, your contact information will be kept for our Mailing List. In this case, or should you elect to join the 'Crush Lane' Mailing List, we will use your contact information solely for that purpose. 'Crush Lane' does not and will not disclose any personal information to any third parties, except as required by law.
